What Do We Do?

Get Liquidated is a full-service liquidation business founded with you in mind. We have seen firsthand the stress and anxiety liquidating can cause and we want to be part of the solution.

At Get Liquidated it is our mission to be Kelowna's most trusted name in estate liquidation and downsizing. We try our best to give you the most for your items and have them cleared out of your property as quickly as possible.

We also offer Junk Removal services. So, if you have any junk lying around that needs to be taken to the landfill, don't hesitate to call us.

We are based in Kelowna, British Columbia, and proudly serve the surrounding communities of West Kelowna and Lake Country. If you are in a further away community such as Vernon or Penticton we still may be able to help, so give us a call.

About Me

My name is Marcus Fuhrmann. I have lived in Kelowna pretty much my entire life.

I got the idea for this business a few years ago. I had been going to garage sales ever since I was a child and as I got older, two things became apparent to me:

​

  • The process of managing a family's estate or simply downsize can be a very stressful and difficult process for people to handle.

  • We as a society are very wasteful and buying second hand is not encouraged enough. 

​

With this in mind, Get Liquidated was born. We take the stress off our clients and allows them to get back to as much of their normal life as possible. We take care of the entire liquidation process from evaluating expected values, cleaning and organizing items, and dealing with all of the sales. We emphasize buying used and take pride in being an environment first company. 

Why choose to "Get Liquidated"?

You may be wondering.....why would I not just sell my items at a garage sale or list them online myself? 

This is a question we get asked frequently and the answer is simple. It all comes down to time and money.

If you hold a garage sale to sell your items, one of two things will happen. You will sell most of your stuff quickly over the course of a weekend but for around 10 cents on the dollar, or you will do the opposite and ask top dollar and because of the demographic that attends garage sales, you will be left with the majority of your items unsold.

If you sell items online, you can certainly generate more revenue, but the time and patience required to clear an entire home or garage is tremendous. I have had clients tell me that they have been selling their possessions online for as long as two years.

We Support Local Charities

Like many small businesses, Get Liquidated cares about its local community. We make a conscious effort to donate as often as possible.

For instance, the majority of the household, kitchen, and clothing we acquire in our liquidation purchases are donated to local charities like the Salvation Army, Share Society, and Gospel Mission. Any of our items that don't sell after two months are also donated. In addition to our donations, any food items we receive are given to the foodbank.
